Up Until Woodstock Music didn't change much, during Beatlemania and the '60s and early 70's music remained relatively unchanged.

 Shortly after the release of Abbey Road John Lennon and Ringo Star were rather publicly Embraced as vampires, George Harrison was revealed to be a Fox Shifter, and McCartney a very powerful Witch. All of this led to many of the major bands being revealed to be composed at least partly of supernaturals. This allowed music to remain relatively unchanged with most major releases still occurring with negligible changes, the Beatles still broke up and went their separate ways.

 

In fact, most media remained, with the vampires recognizing the power such entertainment provided. This was demonstrated in no small part by Elvis Presley. In the real world, he was the king of Rock, in ours he had a brief stint as the last major figure to be a challenger to the Empire. His military experience and ability to inspire through his music caused him to eke out a stronghold that comprised most of Tennessee. And, in suppressed reports, he is one of the few humans who could go toe to toe with a supernatural. While not a witch or supernatural himself, the sheer strength of his music and how it affected his followers gifted him with a supernatural level of power. Sadly, since he would not bend he had to be stamped out and little of his music or name remains outside of rebel strongholds and high-level research in the Empire.

 

  In fact, so many musicians, actors, and celebrities were revealed to be supernatural in some way or another or were pressed into such a state, that it was much later revealed to be one of the earliest opening attacks in the supernaturals takeover. Where they had significant issues infiltrating the government and military, the media was wide open to them; it is believed the anti-war and hippie movement in the United States was engineered to weaken the United States, considered at the time the major threat to their takeover. In short order, powerful witches began weaving their spells onto records and over the airwaves sowing doubt in the governments and their militaries.

 

  To this day music has changed little, Micheal Jackson is still the King of Pop, and his family is revealed to be powerful Mer. 

  Queen Continued touring until the early 2000s when Freddie Mercury, one of the Ruling Tiger Shifters, retired to Ibiza. His parties there are still to this day talked about in awe. with the most recent one by this writing being an invite-only affair that's on its second month of debauchery

 

   AC/DC's Back in Black still somehow sold a hundred million copies after Bon Scott was found dead after drinking tainted blood, The Witch Brian Scott taking over.

 

  Nirvana, while tolerated, was considered a rebel band, their music was deemed mostly harmless with its nihilism and calls to apathy. Composed of the Shifter Dave Grohl and the Witch Kurt Cobain , Cobain having retired from regular play after a disasterous marriage when lead bassist Krist Novoselic comitted suicide still led to the formation of the Foo Fighters by David Grohl

 

  Jim Morrison turned into a vampire mere hours before he would have died of Alcohol poisoning  continued writing and playing with the doors, his music taking a darker bent there after 

 

  Jimmy Hendrix retired shortly after the take over, his tenure and invite only education in musical magic focusing on instrumental manipulation at one of the most exclusive magic schools leads to some of the most powerful of a newer generation of musically inclined witches 

 

  During the 80's and 90's things such as skin color based racism in what remained of many of the major cities still held fast for a while, the hip hop and resulting gangster rap scene still taking hold, now a days of course Dr Dre being a prominent Vampire with Snoop being his bound Witch still led to many of the great rap albums, even Eminem  currently considered the most powerful of the performing Witches releases albums and those who cross him often find themselves destroyed by his diss tracks, Tupac and Biggie both shifters still going strong.

 

 And, of course, the expected are what they appear to be, The Stones really are immortal vampires, Metallica concerts often end in violent mobs of Shifters flooding from stadiums after a good show, in fact, many of the 27 Club are still called the 27 Club having been turned on their 27th birthday. Joplin having disappeared after publically raging against her being turned into a vampire, Vampire Buddy Holly saved the Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens, neither however ever played again due to unhealable injuries with Holly burning up in the morning sunlight while trying to save them.

 

  And then there are the unclassifiable, obviously not human but not what is known.

David Bowie, a being of great power, and his alter ego, still appears and produces masterpieces, these works do not have the support of any side and are tolerated by authorities because they are impossible to snuff out.
